The figure is built through loose, almost sculptural passages of brown, black and exposed light, while the immense metallic sphere rises behind him like both a burden and a celestial body. The contrast between the rawness of the figure and the luminous geometry above gives the work its tension — grounded, monumental and quietly psychological.
